I was reading in my Bible the other day, the parable of the ten talents. Bascially Jesus is telling a story of a man who gave each of his servants 5,2, or 1 talent (Money) while he went on a trip. While he was gone the first two doubled their talents while the servant with only one talent, buried it. When the man came back he was upset with the one servant for not being a good steward of his one talent.
God has called us to use the talents he has blessed us with, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem. It was really convicting to me because so often I chose to do nothing rather then work hard at the talents God has given me. I am ready to paint, write, draw, dance, sing, and everything he calls me to do. No matter how scared and unable I may feel.
